KISSPEPTIN - 10
KISSPEPTIN - 10 1 VIAL X 10MG VIAL.
Kisspeptin is a hypothalamic peptide that stimulates the release
of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), triggering the production of
luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Bodybuilders
sometimes use it as an off-label tool to naturally boost testosterone and
support post-cycle therapy (PCT) after anabolic steroid use, though it lacks
regulatory approval for this purpose.
How Kisspeptin Works in the Body
Kisspeptin acts on the Kiss1 receptor (KISS1R) in the hypothalamus. By
turning on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, it upregulates the
body's natural production of reproductive hormones
Potential
Benefits for Bodybuilders
Testosterone
Support: By
signaling for increased LH output, it can elevate endogenous testosterone
levels, which are critical for muscle hypertrophy, strength, and recovery.
Post-Cycle
Therapy (PCT): Some
athletes use it during PCT to help "kickstart" the body’s natural
testosterone production after a cycle of anabolic steroids, which can suppress
the HPG axis.
Metabolic
Function:
Early-stage animal models suggest that kisspeptin signaling may influence fat
loss, energy expenditure, and metabolism, though these non-reproductive effects
are still being researched.
Libido
and Well-being:
Clinical studies indicate that kisspeptin can enhance sexual desire and mood,
which can be negatively impacted by intensive training or severe hormonal
shifts.
Side
Effects and Unknowns:
Because it works via the HPG axis, using it improperly may disrupt the delicate
balance of hormones. Long-term safety data in healthy adult athletes is
severely limited.
KISS-10 Dosage
Minimal
effective dose: As low as 300 mcg/kg (0.3 mcg/kg) produces robust LH and FSH
elevation in healthy men 1,2
Optimal
single bolus dose: 1000 mcg/kg (1.0 mcg/kg) achieves maximal gonadotropin
stimulation, increasing mean LH from baseline 4.1 IU/L to 12.4 IU/L at 30
minutes 2.
